Bugsy Siegels wife, the interesting Esther Krakower  (1911-1982)  she largely remained in New York City *(althpugh she is buried with her husband in Hollywood) while Bugsy went west. She raised two daughters pictured below  is Millicent Siegel Rosen 1931–2017 . Her other daughter was  Barbara P. Siegel Saperstein 1933–2018)She was born in New York, on February 11, 1911,one of three children, she was  the  daughter of Philip Krakauer and Minnie Marzok Krakauer, natives of Kings County, Brooklyn.

Esta met Siegel were childhood sweethearts who married on January 28, 1929.  After 17 years of marriage she filed for divorce in 1946. (Claiming infidelity on the part of Bugsy)
