Mona Marshall (her real name was Ellen McGraw) a prostitute and drug addict who worked for Harry and Alma Guzik in the Levee, although she had worked as a hooker in a number of places....Harry Guzik, brother of Jake, by the way, was born and raised in the Levee.  Mona started a scandal that rocked the nation and to some degree brought around the Mann Act (The white slave law)  and closed the Levee. She claimed to have been kidnapped and raped and was being held against her will at Guzik's Blue Goose Brothel.. Many doubt she ever said that, its more likely she was pinched for possession of narcotics and a crusading assistant public prosecutor named Clifford Roe, made up her entire back story. In the end, a pimp named Balding went to prison and Mona went back to working as a prostitute for the Guziks.
