Theresa Ferrara was the mistress of Lucchese crime family associate Tommy DeVito and an FBI informant. Ferrara was in South Ozone Park, Queens and an aspiring model and actress.

she was related to Carlos Marcello, the mob boss in New Orleans. She also sold small quantities of cocaine and Quaaludes to members of the Lucchese family including Tommy DeSimone (She had an ongoing affair with the married DeSimone.)

She and DeVito sold cocaine and quaaludes as a sideline. She was sloppy and got arrested by federal agents and traded immunity as an informant.

In 1978, Ferrara planned to swindle the Mafia out of $250,000 worth of cocaine from Florida, she more than probably stole a goodly portion of DeVito’s cut from the Lufthansa heist

Capo Paul Cicero never trusted her Jimmy Conway, busy killing almost all and any witnesses tied into the  Lufthansa heist and wanted her gone as well. She disappeared on February 10 1979.

What was left of her was found on May 18 1979, floating, in parts, in Barnegat’s Inlet, near Toms River in New Jersey. She rumor was that she was identified by the numbers in her breast implants.
